Fort William World Cup
It was the world cup last weekend. a huge race for me on my home track. preporation was not great with a big crash wednesday night befor, riding some boom gnarly xc with jamesy boy on the laggon “mini epic” loop. i miss timed some bumps and went over the bars onto a wooden draining channel to the back. it was well sore and i took it pretty easy through most of practice. in my qualifying run i had a pretty good run and pedaled for the first time properly down the track as that hurt the back the most. qualifyed 33rd, so pretty pleased with that. come the final and i got abit scrappy like most of my race runs this year placing 49th. pretty pissed but it could have been worse with the crash just befor the race. After the first 2 World Cups and i am 50th in the series now so something to work on but a good start. on to Leogang in Austria next for the WC and also the start of a big euro road trip including the European cup and the Mega Avalanche. I cant wait
